About the event
This SNA is the only one in the Duck River Complex with a public trail. It’s about 2 miles, rated moderate. Our hike leader will be Luke Mahrenholz, Stewardship Ecologist for the TN Natural Areas Program. The hike provides bluff over looks of the State Scenic Duck River, cedar glade habitat, mature forest, and a cave. When driving to the parking area, please continue on Cheeks Bend Rd to the natural area sign even if your GPS says you’ve arrived.
