Cynthia Rohrbach

Founding Member

As a founder of Swan Trust in 1992, a board member and the Swan Trust biologist since those early days, Cynthia’s years of leadership have been critical to the land preservation and protection accomplishments that exist today. She continues to provide education to children through her environmental education programs, and to adults through her management of our annual outing and science programs. Cynthia initiated the Nashville Highland Rim Forest project in which she supervises the work to obtain new conservation easements and to educate private landowners of the critical need. Nathan Lafferty, MD

Member

I am blessed to share life with loving wife Kathy and mostly grown kids, Brooke, Emma Grace, Luke, Connor, Ethan and now granddaughter Lakelynn! Grateful for the opportunity to serve as a family physician with my Maury Regional work family since 2003. Something about spending time in nature restores mind, body and soul, and there is increasing evidence for cardiovascular, cognitive and mental health benefits. With an appreciation for the benefits of nature for health and healing, my life ’s work aligns with the Swan Conservation Trust’s mission to preserve our landscapes for future generations, working towards a healthier, sustainable future for our children. Come join in this fellowship and soak up your much needed dose of nature!

Glenn Rohrbach

Member

Glenn grew up on The Farm, where his childhood explorations of creeks and trails instilled a lasting appreciation for nature and community. This love for the natural world led him to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and pursue a professional career as an aquatic biologist, including leading conservation efforts for native species at the Nashville Zoo. Currently an Associate Consultant providing environmental consulting services, Glenn finds the most important things in life are exploring Tennessee's natural landscapes by canoe or cabin with his wife, Stacey, and his three kids. He is thrilled to join the Swan Conservation Trust Board of Trustees, where he can continue fostering a sense of wonder for the natural world.
